Training Resources Training Policies

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Training Resources must follow strict guidelines in conjunction with CEU certification boards.  To protect the integrity of the certifying bodies, each participant is expected to complete each training day in its entirety.  Early departures must be noted on the appropriate sign out sheets.  CEUs will be adjusted accordingly, IF the CEU governing body has approved partial credit.

After a conference, Training Resources will update attendance, and verify that payment for registration and CEUs has been received.  This process will be completed within 45 business days following the conference date.  After this time, participants may log on to the website and print certificates free of charge.  For convenience, most conference certificates will be available online at Training Resources.  Some CEU certificates are sent directly to participants from their governing body and are not available online.  There is a $15 processing fee for each replacement CEU certificate.

PAYMENT
Registrations with payment are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.  All fees, including CEUs must be paid in full by the day of the conference; individuals are responsible for payment of registration and CEU fees the day of the conference if payment or a purchase order has not been received.  Early Bird registration fees are offered, dependent on the conference.  Training Resources assesses a $20 data processing fee for paper or faxed-in registrations.  Training Resources reserves the right to suspend a participant’s registration for future conferences if payment for a previous conference has not been received.

CANCELLATIONS
There is a $35.00 processing fee for cancellations received prior to the posted registration deadline.  There are no refunds for cancellations if the registration fee is $50 or less. NO refunds for cancellations or illness will be made after the posted registration deadline.  Another individual may be substituted for your registration up to the starting date of the conference, with a $20.00 processing fee being assessed to the new registrant.  If payment has been received, and the registration fee is greater than $50, and cancellation is made prior to the posted registration deadline, you will be refunded the paid amount minus the $35.00 processing fee.  Refund payment will be processed within 30 days of conference completion. Persons who pre-register but DO NOT attend the conference are responsible for payment of the full amount of the conference registration fee.

CONFIRMATION
Confirmation will be emailed to those who register by the deadline and provide a valid email address.  Participants should pay particular attention to confirmation letters as specific directions, cancellation information or prerequisites for conferences may be included.

EMAILS
Emails will be sent to your email address for registration confirmations, registration changes, and important system related messages.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES
Conference registration deadlines are provided for each training. Registration received after the deadline will not be guaranteed and will be assessed a late registration fee.

PARTICIPANT NUMBERS
Conference registration may be limited.  Training Resources reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trainings if the minimum number of participants is not met.

EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION & ACCOMMODATION POLICY
Training Resources does not discriminate in their education programs and activities on the basis of race, national origin, color, religion, sex, age, or disability. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend. If you are a person with a disability and require an accommodation in order to participate in a program, please contact Training Resources at 515.309.3315 prior to the registration deadline of each conference.

Persons with special dietary needs should contact Training Resources directly by the registration deadline. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Please read carefully: Training Resources strives to provide a clean and comfortable training environment.  However, it is not always possible to maintain a training room temperature that is comfortable for every participant.  Please dress appropriately and be prepared to adapt to a training room temperature that may be too cold or too warm for some individuals’ personal comfort.

SMOKING
All Training Resources events are smoke-free.  Please respect the other conference participants and site hosts by using designated areas and standing away from the entrance to the site.

Taping
No sessions will be taped without Training Resources and the presenters written permission.
